This is a temporary (6 months) role is based within the Foinaven Onshore team. The Deputy Asset Manager will deputise for the Asset Manager as overall responsible for operational performance of the FPSO including compliance with rules and regulations, contractual requirements and economic results.
Duties and responsibilities
Act as deputy for Asset Manager regarding operations matters and HSE.
Assist in ensuring that all activities, for which he/she is responsible, are carried out in conformance with laws and regulations, contractual requirements and the Altera Management System Manual.

Be part of Emergency Response Organization in accordance with the weekly rotas.
Assist in the preparation of budgets for Operation of his/her FPSO and monitor continuously cost.
Assist in monitoring that all operations are carried out in a safe, healthy and environmental friendly way and in accordance with the approved procedures.
Approve all modifications to the FPSO on behalf of the Asset Manager.
Act as signatory on behalf of Asset Manager, as required within Altera APs and WPs
Approve all subcontractor contracts and material requisitions (when delegated, subject to applicable limits), concerning the operation of the FPSO.
Act as deputy contact point towards Client.
Act as a deputy contact point towards Authorities, unless a single point of contact towards Authorities is nominated.
Assist with the following activities to fulfill contract with Client:
Reporting required by contract
Participate in meetings required by contract
Preparation all of documentation and reports required by contract
Preparation, approval and monitoring of Variation orders
Keep file for correspondence
Delivery of clients 2 year Vision (HSE, Production & Risk/Integrity) and the underlying improvement milestones

Deliver performance improvements and assist with management of the Reliability / Defect elimination process by:

reducing maintenance backlog

work with reliability engineer to eliminate reliability actions

visibility and removal of production deferrals

reducing anomaly backlog

proactive improvement in Process Safety.
RCFA’s carried out and documented
RCFA actions tracked to closure
Medium range (6mth) plans modified by production value prioritisation
Condition based monitoring of equipment performance, proactively influencing maintenance plans
Develop next evolution of production management process
Investigation of causes of deferral
Action creation to remove deferral
Resources allocation / prioritisation focusing on maximising production
Leadership / management of key LOPC reduction plans. e.g.
Long-term anomaly reduction goals
Performance management and intervention to meet long-term anomaly reduction goals
Quality check on action closure for major incidents

Planned Management verification of compliance to key Process Safety/ Major Accident Hazard procedures.

Inhibits and overrides
Management of Change
Safe Design Limit excursions

Qualifications
Higher education within Technical discipline, i.e. Marine, Process etc.
Offshore/onshore experience within floating production
Leadership ability, preferably managerial experience
Language: English both written and oral
Personal qualities
Operative
Resourceful
Independent
Good communicator
Systematic and structured
