Petrofac is currently looking to recruit an Employee Relations Specialist based in Aberdeen, UK.
Take ownership of the Employee Relations strategy for the UK for both on and offshore locations, inclusive of the development of a “best in class” framework.
Lead key change projects and advise senior business leaders on ER risks and ensure that all areas of change are compliant with employment law.
Provide a dedicated Employee Relations service in in all aspects of Employee Relations matters inclusive of grievance, disciplinary and case management, make recommendations of tailored solutions to customers and the HR Team to improve efficiency of service.
Support the HR Team as required on small to large scale projects including, TUPE projects and restructures.
Provide training, coaching, advice, and guidance to managers to develop manager capability and upskilling in Employee Relations.
Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and human resources best practice, knowledge sharing within the team to ensure continuous development and improvement in the service offered.
Provide professional and proactive HR Advice and guidance within defined business areas within the UK, working in partnerships with all stakeholders ensuring that at all times Employment Law is adhered to.
Develop, update and implement policy’s and processes in line with Petrofac Values and Standards, ensuring governance and compliance.

Related degree & CIPD qualified is essential
Experience in relevant employee relations with multi-trade unions with an offshore workforce
Working knowledge of the OCA & OCPA and representation of a member Company
Creation and implementation of Union Agreements
Ability to lead and manage multi-trade union negotiations
