DSC Regen is an independent training provider and regeneration agency specialising in the development and management of employment and training programmes. We offer accredited training in energy efficiency, community development and employability for individual learners.
We’re offering a range of 3-months work experience placements within the biological, ecological and environmental sectors in Seville, Spain and Marseille, France starting in September 2020.
The funding for these placements is for UK residents only. Applications from non-UK residents will not be considered.
Accueil et Rencontres is an association based in Marseille for 30 years. They are specialised in the education of the population concerning biodiversity and environment. They work in disadvantaged areas of Marseille. Amongst others, their missions include: intervention with students and the neighbourhoods, developing and maintaining a green space, creating events to encourage recycling and gardening.
The participant will carry out a 13-week internship as an assistant involved in Accueil et Rencontres’s current projects. Projects involve youth work in schools to educate young people about the environment and to ensure the good condition of the gardens.

The work placements will enable participants to develop experience and practical skills, as well as offering language tuition and understanding of the destination country.
As part of this placement experience you will also complete a Level 3 Award in Community Development accredited by the Learning Resource Network.
