About the role
Here at Babcock International we’re looking for an H175 Captain – TRE.

You’ll be responsible to the Head of Crew Training for the conduct of training and checking in accordance with OM Part D.

Duties include:

  • Conversion training and license skill tests as published in the company ATO Manual.
  • Maintaining personal licences and ratings current, including medical certificate, in order to conduct assigned duties. In particular for ensuring that any approvals granted by the UK CAA and other NAA’s are valid before conducting any examining which require the exercise of that approval.
  • Conducting license and operator proficiency checks, as described in OMD, to the required standards in accordance with EASA and CAA requirements as directed by the Head of Crew Training. Such examining may only be conducted whilst exercising the privileges granted by the Authority.
  • In the light of experience from flight examining, making proposals for improving efficiencies in training.
  • Any Role Training and Checking as authorised by the Head of Crew Training (i.e. Winching and External Load Carrying).
  • Updating training and examining records promptly on completion of examining, ensuring that they are stored or forwarded in accordance with Company and Authority procedures.
  • What do I need to do the role?
    You’ll need to have experience as a Captain, type rated on the H175, have the EASA type rating examiner (TRE) qualification and must have Offshore experience.

  • The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
