EPConsult Energies (EPEn) is a London based independent engineering and technical consultancy working in oil, gas, petrochemicals and renewables. Our main office is in London with a satellite office in Copenhagen.
In support of our existing clients in South America and also to act to grow our business in oil, gas, and petrochemicals projects, we are looking to employ an energetic, confident, dynamic and experienced technical Safety, HSE and Risk Engineer.
Position based in Peru, preferably Lima.
Fluent in English and Spanish required.
Excellent spoken and written communications.
Bachelor’s Degree-level qualified in relevant engineering subject (process, mechanical, instrumentation, environmental, safety or similar).
Master’s Degree level qualified preferred (technical subjects, safety, HSE or business management e.g. MBA)
5-8 years’ experience in the oil and gas (or related) industry of which at least some experience in process and technical safety engineering or related fields.
Specific experience in the following areas:
HSE and Risk Assessment for offshore and/or onshore oil and gas facilities
Experience in health, safety and environmental impact assessment (HSEIA) studies
Contingency and emergency response planning and documentation
QRA and consequence modelling
HAZID and HAZOP experience as scribe or chairperson
Use of industry software for the analysis of safety, risk and reliability
Experience in oil and gas operations and development with an operating company or with an engineering consultant / contractor
Additional skills or interest in renewable studies, would be a benefit.
