I.T. Service Desk Support Analyst

Our prestigious Client,an Exploration and Production Company contributing to global progress by helping meet the world’s energy needs, are currently seeking a I.T. Service Desk Support Engineer/Analyst for a contract position based in the UK. The role and responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to the following:-

A robust and proven track record working extensively within an I.T. Helpdesk function.
Knowledge of working in an Oil & Gas Operator or Tier 1 Service Company environment would be preferred as well as highly advantageous.
Candidates experienced in 1st & 2nd Level I.T. Support are welcome to apply for this position, evidence of relevant experience must provided at time of application.
The successful incumbent shall provide Audio Visual (AV) support to meet the needs of the business and across the Company as required.
The role will provide First and Second Level Service Desk support to both onshore & offshore functions to meet specific requirements.
Applications are invited from candidates familiar with working in fast paced environments, providing support for end users hardware & software issues.
A key function of this role is maintaining technical documentation to include; schematics and procedures in line with the Client’s policies and procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office, Teams, Skype, Adobe and Desktop Operating Systems including Windows 7 &10 is essential to be selected for consideration of this position.
Knowledge of Drilling & Geoscience software applications would be highly desirable e.g. OpenWells software
Multi-user system knowledge is required.
Working to tight deadlines will be expected from the successful candidate.
Flexibility will be required for this position due to liaising with both domestic, offshore and international locations within the Company structure as required to meet the responsibilities of this position.
