Insurance Marketing Manager – EMEIA Financial Services – 12 Month FTC 26 views

The Opportunity

This purpose of this role is to help shape and deliver the marketing communications programmes of the Insurance sector in the EMEIA Financial Services business.
You will be a member of the EMEIA Financial Services Branding, Marketing and Communications (BMC) team, which has some 25 people developing and driving the marketing and communications requirements for our financial services business.
In your role you will work with key partners and their teams across the insurance business to develop the marketing strategy, planning and activity. The role will focus on driving key insurance strategic solutions to our clients, via a multi-channel digital first approach.
Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager for Insurance, you will build strong relationships and work closely with the Global Insurance BMC team, as well as the local marketing teams across the 19 EMEIA FSO markets. Part of your role will be to manage offshore resource to support you in delivering the plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely and build strong relationships with key insurance sector and solution leads to develop and lead on major go to market Insurance projects.
  • Developing relevant parts of the Insurance marketing plan, monitoring budget and effectiveness tracking.
  • Develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns utilising ‘sound’ marketing thinking and broad marketing communication tools including: digital channels, digital advertising, sponsorships, digital and face-to-face events.
  • Engage with global, regional and local marketing teams and the Insurance account community to ensure that content and campaigns are being fully leveraged in local markets.
  • Work alongside the brand, internal communications and knowledge teams for effective planning and deployment of campaigns.
  • Manage offshore resource to ensure the execution of marketing activities.

  • Preferably CIM qualified
  • To qualify for the role you must have

  • Professional services experience and, ideally, knowledge of the financial services industry and international experience, would be an advantage
  • Proven ability to manage complex processes and/or projects at an international level
  • Experienced in B2B marketing and communications, preferably in professional services
  • Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Good understanding of the financial services industry
  • Experience managing small teams
  • High degree of influencing and networking skills
  • Outstanding communications abilities and experience
