Our Capital Projects teams are responsible for developing and building our Renewables Assets, both onshore and offshore with a focus on maximising the value of our current pipelines, whilst pursuing new markets.
What is the Role?
We are looking for an experienced Land Manager to join our Capital Projects Team with the key aim of ensuring that all the necessary land agreement requirements are in place on our renewable energy projects. The role will sit within our land team and report to our Land Team Manager and will involve working in project teams across our UK portfolio of development sites to help deliver projects on time and on budget. This role will predominately focus on the management of the onshore land works package and delivery of the legal land rights for an offshore wind project but will also include responsibility for land negotiations on sites at different stages in the development process both early on during the site identification and assessment phase, throughout development and during the project refinement and execution / construction stages.
What do I need?
Ideally, you’ll have worked in renewables or a similar industry in a commercial land role and be qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline (preferably rural surveying, land economy, estate management or similar). You should either have, or be working towards, professional membership of a relevant technical or professional body (such as RICS, CAAV or similar). Experience in the successful delivery of land rights required for long liner electricity infrastructure projects and Compulsory Purchase Order and Development Consent Order processes would be advantageous.
