You will be one of up to nine NSIP Officers who will be working in multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust examinations and recommendations, on time. You will help to build and develop a high-performance culture, with our customers at the very heart of our work. You will be an integral part of the NSIP team helping to interpret legislation and the Planning Act 2008, confidently working within the operational delivery service. You should be organised, able to work under pressure and deliver high-quality work at a fast pace.
You will work with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, building effective working relationships helping to meet our goals and priorities. You will work as part of a team supporting each other with case work and sharing process improvements and efficiency ideas. You will also be responsible for collating and analysing information submitted by the public and other stakeholders, working closely with the NSIP Admin Team to ensure all necessary documents are published, and reporting progress to the Case Manager and Inspectors. You will answer queries, prepare letters and provide advice to applicants and other interested parties. It’s a role where two days are never the same.
Our examination events happen all over the country and for now you’ll provide virtual support at Examinations, managing logistics, timetables, and supporting the administration and organisation of the event, but when we are able to hold physical events again you will attend these events several times a year.
