To complete our team for the service sites in the Aberdeen area, we are now looking for a committed Supervisor, who will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our offshore wind farms.

Tasks & responsibilities: You will…

…be responsible for organising, planning and preparing all offshore activities to ensure smooth and safe operations on the V164 offshore wind farm. You will be working closely with our customer and lead a team of Technicians to service and maintain the wind farm.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage and coordinate service operations on site
  • Organise Vessel + O&M transfers
  • Monitor weather forecasts
  • Create service work orders and approve hours of Technicians in Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Assist with the implementation of new procedures
  • Plan annual service and maintenance
  • Input to monthly customer reports
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Compliance to MHI Vestas’ Health and Safety Management system
  • General support to the Service Manager
  • Manage and ensure electrical safety work on site
  • Skills & experience: Our new colleague…

    …has at least two years of professional experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems, preferably offshore and/or with high voltage. It is important that you are a natural leader who can motivate and encourage a team to deliver best-in-class results while never compromising quality and safety. We also expect that you have wind turbine experience and know how to manage general safety and safety awareness.

  • Have experience with planning and coordinating
  • Are comfortable working offshore and at heights, coping with the respective challenges this brings
  • Are flexible and willing to travel to other sites when needed
  • Are a self-starter and take on responsibility
  • Are reliable, technically competent and a team player
  • Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Have a full driver’s license
