Organisation & Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to actively contribute to the successful project delivery of a company-wide reward remuneration project. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop skills within the HR, project coordination and reward specialisms.

The role holder will deliver project coordination and administration support to the Reward and Policy Manager and wider project work streams. In addition, they will be encouraged to support the development of communications, training, documents and templates for use by the business once the project is rolled out.

This 12 month fixed term role will report to the Reward and Policy Manager and will be part of a team of three.

Person specification

  • Educational qualifications that demonstrate proficiency in English Language and Maths
  • Experience of supporting HR or other projects
  • Proficient in excel with the ability to prepare and analyse complex reports
  • The ability to act proactively and with limited direct supervision, while at the same time recognising when matters need to be referred to the Reward and Policy Manager.
  • A detailed understanding of Microsoft Office packages, a general understanding of project management and general HR processes, with the ability to translate that understanding to ensure any project work aligns with the policies, processes and systems of the Company.
  • The written and oral communication skills vital to initiate and respond to correspondence, develop templates and mentorship, to update/build project documents and to deal with other forms of communication.
  • The ability to work accurately with detailed information to ensure that project records and relevant documentation are kept up to date.
  • E-literate and competent in developing, administering and using PC and associated networks and systems to acquire, manipulate and disseminate operational management information.
  • The interpersonal skills vital to build and sustain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • The organisational skills and initiative vital to balance challenging priorities to ensure timely delivery of work.
