Atlas Copco Industrial & Offshore Rental UK – Sales and Business Development Manager

Our target markets include Oil & Gas (up-, mid- & downstream), (petro)chemicals, the energy sector and the manufacturing industries.
We are currently looking to recruit a Sales & Business Development Manager for UK and Ireland.
Your mission as Sales and Business Development Manager will be to take the Specialty Rental business to the next level of profitable growth – with focus on:
As Sales and Business Development Manager, you will report to the Region Manager West of Atlas Copco Rental Europe and be key member of the Atlas Copco Rental UK management team.
Together with your colleagues, you will be a driving force to grow the Industrial & Offshore rental business in the UK.
New suitable businesses and applications will also be your focus as well as key account & territory development based on local marketing plans and inputs.
You will manage the sales team with a high attention on communication, training, coaching and marketing. You will also manage the back-office Rental Desk team and Finance team. Focus will be on continuous customer support, correct administration and on the different divisional KPI’s.
The position will be responsible to/for:
Several years of sales and/or marketing experience in industrial related sales, rental or services.
Application, product and sales management experiences in compressed air, nitrogen and electric power equipment are a plus.
A good understanding of the business requirements needed to operate 24/7 is a prerequisite for this position.
University degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business Studies or equivalent through experience.
Good communication, planning & organizing skills
Computer literate (Office365 & CRM package)
Knowledge of Atlas Copco equipment is a main asset and good knowledge of ‘The Way We Do Things’ is a must.
You are fluent in English. Knowledge of any other language is a plus.
