We are recruiting for the following vacancy based in Valero Refinery, Pembroke. Position: Trainee Warehouse Assistant

Status: Temporary Contract, minimum 18months

Salary: Competitive

Full-time: 9 Day fortnight working pattern. Must be willing to work potential shift patterns, nights and overtime if required.

Start: Immediate

We are looking to recruit a fulltime Trainee Warehouse Assistant for our busy Stores Department.

Candidates should possess the following but as a Trainee role training and mentoring will be provided to the right candidate:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
  • Be highly motivated, organized, reliable and willing to learn
  • Hold GCSE O’level / Standard grade passes in English Language and Maths
  • Full UK Drivers License essential
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Dangerous Goods Awareness preferred
  • Role: – To supplement the existing Warehouse Team during this exceptionally busy time leading up to and including upcoming Turnarounds.

    Tasks include but are not limited to general Warehouse duties:

  • Driving duties
  • General labouring
  • Mobilisation/Demobilisation of equipment to and from worksites
  • Inspection and maintenance of company equipment
  • Equipment recertification
  • Receipt of deliveries
